How The DryKids Method Ends Bedwetting:

If your child is dry during the day and wet at night, then his/her bedwetting can be fixed by establishing new sleep habits and eliminating the contributing causes. Our DryKids system brings clinic experience right into your home, and is effective for children, teens and adults. This 4-step program is:

    Why it works

The DryKids solution is multi-modal – that is, it is made up of several remedies working together. As a child's situation changes in the first few days and weeks, we change methods to introduce the next appropriate steps. The result is that wetting stops sooner and the patient stays drier for longer than with a single mode of treatment.

The most common factors that can contribute to wetting are:

    Why it Costs Less

The initial cost of DryKids coaching may be higher than cost of an alarm program, but costsless than medication. The long-term cost may even be less than doing nothing: consider pull-ups, laundering, bedding. You may know about U.S. based "bedwetting consulting" companies; DryKids is more effective, more personal, and far less expensive because our Coaches work independently from home, without their national advertising and telemarketing.

How Do I Know If It’s Right For Us?

Then he/she can 'feel it' in the daytime, but not at night, which indicates that there is no medical problem. The DryKids method will almost certainly work in four to ten weeks.

We don't recommend using drugs to treat bed wetting.

The Mayo Clinic, on drugs most often used to treat bed wetting: The drug desmopressin acetate (DDAVP) boosts levels of a natural hormone (anti-diuretic hormone, or ADH) that forces the body to make less urine at night. Side effects: The most serious is a seizure if the medication is accompanied by too many fluids. The antidepressant imipramine (Tofranil) may provide bed-wetting relief may also increase the amount of time a child can hold urine or reduce the amount of urine produced Caution is essential, however. An overdose could be fatal. Medication doesn't cure the problem. Bed-wetting typically resumes when the medication is stopped.
